St. Paul's Church of England Primary School

St. Paul's Church of England Primary School

Admissions

In deciding where you would like your child to go to school, it is really important to find out as much as you can about the schools themselves. We hold Open days in October and November for parents of children due to start in Reception the following September; dates are released during September of the academic year and can be found on the school website or by contacting the school office. Our Prospectus gives further information about our school and can be found on this website.

We are also very happy for parents to make specific appointments to visit the school at any point during the academic year and we would ask you to arrange this with the office.

St. Paul's is a half-form entry Primary School, meaning that we admit 15 children per year into each year group; this is called our PAN.

Admission is decided on the following factors:

1. Looked After Child

2. Sibling Link

3. Special Educational Need with an Education Health and Care Plan

4. Distance

If you are considering St. Paul's as an option for your child and they have a disability, it is advisable to contact the school so that we can discuss any adaptations that need to be made, before admission.

The local authority (LA) deals with all admissions for children starting school for the first time and the link below will direct you to the Kent County Council website where you will find all the information that you require. If you have a child in any other year group, and would like to enquire about places, then please do so directly through the school office.

The school follows the LA’s admissions policy, a copy of which is available from the link below. KCC oversubscription criteria is outlined below the following images and further admissions' documents can be accessed at the bottom of this page.

All information can be found on the Kent County Council Website
